German and English tourists in Spain.

Ok, since I’m seeing it everyday on the news and we also talk about this in the tourism course I’m taking I need to say this.

The summer holidays are around the corner and lots of tourist from all countries visit Spain every year, and we are more than happy to receive them. But lately this has been changing.

This happens mostly with German and English tourists. They come to Spain and throw trash in the beach, they urinate in the street, they are rude with people, I even saw that some of them walk around naked (this was an Italian tourist), they don’t respect the rules of hotel, restaurants and beaches…

I’m sure some of you are thinking “well, but they spend their money in your country and that’s good for Spain” LOL. German and English tourists are learning to fill fake complaints to get their vacations for free. They complain about the service, the food (a couple of weeks ago I saw in the news that some English tourist were complaining that they became intoxicated with the food and refused to pay the bill… they didn’t provide evidences) OR EVEN THE WEATHER!! (like if we could control it, or if Spain was always sunny). 

So please, if you are German or English, and you are going to travel to Spain (or even if you know someone whom is planning to visit my country) don’t be a dick, because in some cities they are starting to ban people from Germany and UK.

I’ve seen it on tv a few weeks ago. Some insurance agents told English tourists how they could fake being ill and get their money back. I guess German tourists are picking this up now, too. I’m German and I know a lot of people who constantly go to Spain over the holidays. This kind of behaviour really is unacceptable!
