The place I was looking at seemed okay and in my price range, but I’d have to pay $8 and month for parking, even though I don’t get a reserved space, supposedly to pay for a parking garage for the guests I know I’m never going to have. I have no friends in the state, let alone the city, and my family never visits me. I don’t need an $8 reminder every month about how much my life sucks.

Plus the average rates for electricity are nearly twice what they are where I live now. So I basically will have to go back to not having A/C. Plus I never used my heat either. One of the apartments has a fireplace, but the rent is an extra $20 a month. 

I can’t afford to stay where I am, and I can’t afford to move.
