Feel better! One of my earliest memories is burning my hand on the pot-bellied stove we used for heating. I could never convince Mom that I’d tripped and fallen rather than touching the stove on purpose. Had the scar for like 10 years.

Your story reminds me of a girl I used to know who had a burn scar across the entire surface of the back of her hand from a kitchen accident. I remember being like 7 years old and weirdly fascinated by it.
