Yesterday we went to see Stravinsky’s Firebird, and as the ballet has only 1 act, they added another act of rather random dances, many of  which were super boring. But also, there were pieces from a ballet, that seemed to be the usual 19 century ballet nonsense, but was in fact based on this book:

I mean, wow. A way to make me want to watch an old ballet.
