I have a mountain of work to do and my shoulder is acting up. It doesn’t hurt that bad but I’m constantly using it so it’s like slow torture. Whyyyyyyyyyy.

BUT in the interests of positivity

my AC went out again yesterday. I woke up and it was 80F in my apartment. BUT I put in a work order with the complex, thinking no way they’d fix it that day because I didn’t have time to put my dog away. (It’s a MASSIVE pain in the ass because I have to put the water bowl and the litter box in there and then wrangle the cats which…herding cats is a phrase for a reason) But nope. The maintenance guy bucked up and went in and fixed it.

It’s frustrating because while I know he’s big and some people are afraid of dogs, he is the friendliest dog I’ve ever seen, I didn’t even think he knew how to growl until recently, and he only does that at stray cats, he’s more outgoing and friendly than I am, and yet people are terrified of him and I have to lock him and the poor cats in the bedroom if I need any maintenance done. And that bedroom is tiny. So I’m really grateful for the maintenance guy being brave. Especially since the heat can hurt my dog.
