Hey Slings and Arrows fandom
I want to start a new embroidery project and I want the next one to be a quote from Slings and Arrows. I’m looking for suggestions. Preferably from Oliver, maybe from Geoffrey. It can be funny or profound but preferably not to long as I’d like to finish it this century. Otherwise I’d do the entire Ophelia speech.
I also need someone to talk me out of using “My condolences on your limp dick” because it is all I can think of right now.
Personal faves:
– “Go for it, man!” These are the words a director likes to hear.
– The best things happen just before the thread snaps. (Oh, this would be an excellent needlepoint)
– Without the bleats, there’s no irony.
– There’s nothing more boring than perfection.
– There will be struggle. There will be sacrifice. There will be tears, there will be the occasional fistfight. And in the end, there will be transformation.
– I’m not heartless, I’m just detail-oriented.
– If you want to communicate something with the proletariat, cover it in sequins and make it sing.
This post might have worked too well. There are so many I want to do now.
All of these are excellent.
