I had a meeting with my coworker and our supervisor yesterday. Everything went better than expected.

My predecessor had said to me that the department had gone downhill since she left and I replaced her. I asked about it just to make sure my boss did not agree with that sentiment. He said no he definitely does not, and my coworker actually backed me up as well, saying he’s found fewer errors since I joined and that I’ve been diligent in doing my work properly. He also mentioned that her comments created a hostile work environment and our boss agreed.

I’m just glad I’m not in trouble or anything. I don’t need another SURPRISE! YOU’RE LOSING YOUR JOB in my life.
