[abbreviated image transcription] If you or anyone you know does not have a residential street address to provide to either the DOT or the tribal government in order to obtain ID, an address can be assigned by reaching out to the 911 coordinator in which you reside. The North Dakota Association of Counties maintains a list of all 53 county 911 coordinators. This letter can be either used to obtain ID or as supplemental documentation for people whose ID includes a mailing address rather than a residential one. In some counties the duty of assigning an address is done by an officer, but the Coordinator will be able to connect you to that office, and the process will be free of charge and quick.
