so gold is a good metal to eat, but what rocks are good to eat?

fuckingrecipes:

Salt. Salt is a good rock. Lick that bad boi.

Variations of salt, like ‘Black Salt’ or ‘Himalayan pink salt’ is just normal salt with dirt in it.

Black Salt has either charcoal or volcanic rock aka pumice in it. Old lava.
Himalayan Pink Salt has traces of iron, which is what causes the soft pink color! Very cute childe.

These dirt traces don’t add anything to the salt except color and a faint taste of dirt, which some ppl will say ‘adds richness’ but imo they just like dirt flavors.

Ice is a mineral – technically a rock. Solid crystalline structure. Cronch the crystal. Gain its power.

Limestone is actually eaten very frequently! You might know it as Calcium Carbonate. Very good rock, when purified. It soothes the stomach and acts as an anti-vomiting medicine.

There’s a subset of mineral-like substances called ‘Mineraloids’ because they’re not naturally-ocurring, or aren’t inorganic. Very mineral-like, but not technically minerals~

This includes Sugar Crystals, which are very good to eat!!

Plz don’t eat normal rocks and gemstones, as they can cause intestinal blockages, and sharp edges can cut your organ liners and that’s very bad

I have PMS and I’m cranky and irritable and depressed and I’m already ordering necessities from target anyway and it is taking every fiber of my self control to not throw this octopus throw pillow into my cart.

Nobody stopped me so….

I await my new cephalopod in the near future. I hope Tomorrow Me isn’t mad.

I love that when Barnabas gets taken to the hospital after his car crash with viki the staff are like ‘lmao look at this loser with no blood or pulse what a weirdo’ and that’s. The entire extent of their reaction to him? They just can’t be bothered to give more than half a damn about this person who is in an inexplicable state of being

I think it’s time to face it: not only is the Collinsport police force hopeless, but the town’s medical profession is fairly useless as well.  No wonder the monsters and mad scientists have taken over the joint!

Then Dr. Lang starts immediately performing experiments on him without his consent. I mean geez at least Julia bothered to ask first…though to be fair that’s probably one of the least unethical things the denizens have gotten up to in this town.

The future is here today: you can’t play Bach on Youtube because Sony says they own his compositions

James Rhodes, a pianist, performed a Bach composition for his Youtube channel, but it didn’t stay up – Youtube’s Content ID system pulled it down and accused him of copyright infringement
because Sony Music Global had claimed that they owned 47 seconds’ worth
of his personal performance of a song whose composer has been dead for
300 years.

This is a glimpse of the near future. In one week, the European Parliament will vote on a proposal to force all online services to implement Content ID-style censorship, but not just for videos – for audio, text, stills, code, everything.

Just last week, German music professor Ulrich Kaiser posted his research
on automated censorship of classical music, in which he found that it
was nearly impossible to post anything by composers like Bartok,
Schubert, Puccini and Wagner, because companies large and small have
fraudulently laid claim to their whole catalogs.

Europeans have one week to contact their MEPs to head off this catastrophe.

Stop what you’re doing and contact two friends in the EU right now and send them to Save Your Internet – before it’s too late.

WHAT

NO

FUCK THIS

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

Does anyone know how or if Americans can help?

I think it could potentially do more harm than good if Americans try to contact the MEPs – but do spread awareness about this issue!

All hope is not gone (yet), even though it certainly seems like it. There are several alternatives to the copyright reform MEPs will choose from Wednesday next week. What fellow Europeans need to do right now is to

Call your MEP and urge them to choose one of the options that avoids upload filters.
