I got a long overdue tetanus shot on Monday for the cut on my foot. While I was there I asked for a blood panel to check my levels, especially my iron and sugars, especially since my dad died of diabetes. I just got the results in and I’m fine. I’m surprised my iron wasn’t lower but my kidneys and liver are good and my sugars are normal, so I can stop panicking about that every time my feet get cold.
I’m genuinely afraid of developing diabetes so this is a huge relief for me.
