Bill Cosby was convicted on all counts and the East Area Rapist is (probably) behind bars and I know the world still sucks but all things considered it’s been a good week for justice against sexual assault.

I just finished rereading Howl’s Moving Castle and now I’m torn between tracking down Michelle McNamara’s book on the Golden State Killer or finishing the Phantom of the Opera. Tbh I really want to finish Phantom because my insufferable coworker who thinks he’s the smartest person in the world (he’s wrong ) couldn’t get through it and blamed it on it being translated from French (no no you’re totally right it’s the translation’s fault and not the fact that you aren’t nearly as smart as you think you are) and if I finish it I can be like

Please help my cat, Paccino

We took him to the vet yesterday (4/23/18) because he was acting lethargic + not eating + in pain and my mom spent her last $200 on an xray. the x-ray showed his intestines were swollen but the vet doesn’t know what’s causing it and gave paccino medicine for the stomach pain, fluids from the IV because he was dehydrated, and said if he gets worse we need to bring him back for an ultrasound to determine the next treatment.

He is getting worse (lethargy, shifting constantly bc of pain, etc) and the ultrasound is $250 and we only have $5 left after the $200 we paid.

If anyone has any resources for pet medical bills assistance I would appreciate it so so much.

I research a lot of true crime, especially unsolved cases and guys

One of the scariest cases I’ve read about, the Golden State Killer aka the East Area Rapist, whose crime spree has gone unsolved for 30 years,

They think they caught the guy.

I am overwhelmed right now. I hope it’s him. I hope they got him. If you have the steel nerves for it, read up on the case. I know some of my followers are a bit sensitive to this kind of thing (no judgment here – I don’t recommend it as a hobby) so I won’t get into it, but this guy needs to be behind bars.
