Dog does not understand

Please please please, if you get a tornado warning, take cover immediately. The areas that have gotten tornadoes have been very accurate in terms of the warnings.

If you don’t have to leave your home, then don’t! TxDot is advising to stay off of roads for at least the next several days. Even if your area is not flooded, you will not get far before you are in an area that is flooded. It is not worth it.

Do not go into an attic, if your home takes on water. You WILL be trapped and unable to evacuate your home should water get into the attic. Please, go to your roof if you need to.

As always, stay out of the water unless you absolutely need to. The water may have snakes and other dangerous animals. Not to mention the currents may be much stronger than they look.

Do not call 911 unless your emergency is LIFE THREATENING. If you need to find a shelter or information call: 311 if in the city, 211 if you are outside of city limits.

First of all, I want to thank every one for sending me birthday wishes. You are all the greatest!

I think I responded to them all by now. Sorry I didn’t get to it sooner. I was out doing birthday things all day. My brother’s girlfriend (who is amazing!) came over, we got lunch, and then we went thrift store shopping. I got some stuff that will work for interviews and office type outfits, since I didn’t have a dress code before, and I may have to step it up a bit in whatever job I wind up in. Then my brother came and we went to the comic store and the used book store on the square, then we met my mom, stepdad and stepsiblings for dinner and then ice cream. I didn’t get home until after 10 then I sort of had to sober up a bit before I could respond to messages properly. But the two margaritas I had were definitely worth it.

So all in all, a way more awesome day than I had anticipated. I’ll post shopping/birthday haul pictures tomorrow. But for now I’m exhausted, but fortunately the happy kind, and I really want to get some sleep.

Lolllll not really. I was tipsy and messing with her. My mom, not the lady in the bathroom. But my mom is the queen of messing with people for a laugh plus I started giggling halfway through so it didn’t fool her at all.

There was a lady in the bathroom, but she didn’t really do anything.
