That made me cry. The absolute… Just. Surviving the fucking Holocaust. Taking back your identity, your religion, your community… And then being murdered in a synagogue in a country that was supposed to be against the ideals that tore apart your childhood.

Most wheelchairs only just fit through standard doors and so often, well meaning people who open doors for wheelchair users actually make it more difficult because they get in the way.
