David Selby alert!

Selby appeared in an episode or two of the first season of “Legion” on FX. His character, Brubaker, ran a top secret organization interested in mutants. Brubaker died a horrible death when his body was half-phased into the floor. This season Selby appeared in a flash in episode 8 (aka Chapter 16).

“Legion” is based on a character from the X-Men comics – David Haller. Haller is Charles Xavier’s son and is a powerful mutant with character possesses various psychic abilities, including telepathy and telekinesis. He spent much of the first season in a mental hospital. In season two he’s in a battle of wills with the Shadow King.

Oh god i’ve got into the pure fondue that is the OG Dark Shadows show, but i feel alone in the fandom, what do?

Ah, welcome to the DS fandom! I know there’s a facebook group for new and old fans alike. And the DS community on tumblr is actually very open and friendly to anyone who likes the show 🙂 You most certainly won’t be posting into a void.

There’s also quite a bit of fanart, fics, online zines, and meta out there in addition to a good joke or two!

@sights9 @lzbarnabas @graceawaits @vintagetvfan @theparadoxmachine     @bethcalavicci help this new fan out? 🙂

Welcome!!!!

I’m not on Facebook currently, but I’m on here way entirely too much, so I’m usually around. I don’t think any of us post DS exclusively, but as far as I know we’re all usually up for some good DS conversation.

I know some people feel weird about old posts (???) but feel free to peruse my dark shadows tag.

I feel I should add @takethekeyandlockherup to list of blogs you should check out if no one has already. She posts a lot of DS related stuff and she’s a brilliant sculptor. She’s done some DS art that’s amazing.

I thought for a second how awesome it would be to have a crossover between Twin Peaks and Dark Shadows then I realized that makes absolutely no sense. I think I just want to see Albert Rosenfield call Barnabas an idiot to his face.
