Following actors around in their different roles is one of the Worst Things About Me because now my fandom crossover is so stupid. 

Every time I watch Slings and Arrows, I keep wanting to call Oliver the Ghost with the Most but I can’t because that kind of reference is comedically useful to absolutely no one but me. 

I took my mom shopping yesterday and we went into a Movie Trading Company. This was by far my best find. They didn’t have any of the fairly mainstream movies I was looking for, but they fucking had season 3 of Slings and Arrows. I asked them if they would by chance have any other seasons lying around and the guy checked the system and another store had season 2 and could ship it to my home. All I need now is season 1.

They were both reasonably priced too. I’ve had a hard time finding the complete series for less than $200 online. I know it’s an import but damn.

Hey Slings and Arrows fandom

I want to start a new embroidery project and I want the next one to be a quote from Slings and Arrows. I’m looking for suggestions. Preferably from Oliver, maybe from Geoffrey. It can be funny or profound but preferably not to long as I’d like to finish it this century. Otherwise I’d do the entire Ophelia speech.

I also need someone to talk me out of using “My condolences on your limp dick” because it is all I can think of right now.

I personally have “Oliver Welles is DEAD I poured him in the river and SWANS ate him” on my wall (not embroidered, but written on paper), but some other suggestions:

  • I’m not mentally equipped for the task at this time
  • Everyone cries when they’re stabbed
  • That’s not a good position for prison, darling
  • This is my lake
  • What’s on the agenda today, geoffrey? -Nothing, avoiding people.
  • This is my life: I live in a storage room, I eat soup with a dead man.
  • You want people to trust you, don’t quote Nixon you fucking idiot.
  • That’s ridiculous, I’ll do THAT.

And there’s probably way more, this list is mostly geoffrey quotes since those tend to be the most relatable to me, does anyone else know some oliver quotes?

Definitely adding some of those to the list. I may also add

“Wake up and smell the coffin.”

And I’m not gonna say which but some of those would be hilarious hanging in my bathroom.

I NEED the “What’s on the agenda today” quote in some form or another hanging at my desk at work.

@mittiesue and I just finished watching Slings and Arrows and I’m glad to say she liked it very much. After I convinced her to watch it, we watched most of the first season in one day, just because she didn’t want to stop watching it. Then we took a break for some various personal reasons. She said season 1 is still her favorite, but overall she really liked it, and I liked it even more on the rewatch. 

Also, over the last two episodes she said “Fuck you Richard” about 6 times. And I think we can all agree with that.
