One of my favourite things about garak and bashir’s first onscreen encounter is knowing that while alexander siddig was thinking about how intimidating it was to be working with such an experienced and skilled actor andrew robinson was thinking “he’s hot, i’m gonna go for it”
Bashir is
really good-looking, so as a character choice I thought, “What the hell? Why
not go for it?” There is a close-up of Garak where it looks like he could eat him

shoutout to that time Khan had a scalpel at Bones’ throat, and Bones’ reaction was basically ‘boy i dare you to try it’, and Khan was like holy shit this guy is off it
you can see the moment Khan realizes “my god, this man’s balls are enormous”.
I’m seriously tempted to leave disembodied Bones McCoy on the wall when I move. And considering he lives behind my bedroom door, it is legitimately possible that I might do that on accident.
