ughhhhh – The Paradox Machine

I am finally located between two major cultural centers and I have a disposable income so naturally none of the opera houses or theatres are playing anything I’m interested in.

But Love Never Dies and Taming of the Shrew are playing nearby, just in case you thought the universe had stopped mocking me for a minute.

Today I cried a little bit because I remembered that when Beethoven conducted his ninth symphony for the first time he got a standing ovation and one of the sopranos had to turn him around to see the audience.
