I burned my finger pretty badly making dinner last night. It’s about an inch long, so comparatively small, but for the first few hours it was one of the most painful injuries I’ve ever had. It’s down toward my palm, but just touching the tip of that finger just, I dunno, spread warmth to the burn and it hurt. 

It’s feeling a lot better now though. I went to bed with my hand stuffed inside an ice pack, so I was finally able to go to sleep. My fingers have a lot of little tiny burn scars since I bake a lot and am a total klutz.
