I was listening to a documentary about the Pendle Witch Trials and some dipstick in the documentary actually keeps saying that “well witchcraft was a crime then and the people on trial believed in witchcraft too so we need to entertain the possibility that they were actually witches and the charges and sentences were legitimate *shrug*”

I’m paraphrasing but jfc dude some of these people were drawn and quartered. Some were hanged. On the word of a clearly coached 9 year old. Wtf is wrong with you?
