Happy 4th Adoption Day my sweet baby boy!
It has been four years to the day since I brought Arthur home from the shelter. I won’t say those four years have been all bliss, but he has been the biggest and brightest of 3 wonderful lights in the darkness of those times.

And I know you’re right. Like today, he was just happy to have his bedding clean and back in his bed, he went right in and curled up before I even finished putting it all back. He’s really a sweetie.
Great Depression Cooking – Baked Apples
I just found this amazing channel where a lady named Clara, who was in her 90s during the channel’s entire run, shows recipes from when she was growing up in the Depression. She tells stories about growing up in the Depression while she cooks and it’s just an awesome channel. She’s amazing and lovable and I have been binging this channel today.
She passed away in 2013, and it’s so sad, but I’m so glad they’ve kept her channel up. I want to try some of these.
